Tandem Pump Users Join Beyond Type 1’s Global Ambassadors Council to Raise $1 Million

Beyond Type 1 is participating in Revlon’s LOVE IS ON Million Dollar Challenge, a competition where the non-profit that raises the most money wins $1 million. Beyond Type 1 has picked captains who use their media networks to raise awareness and funds for the team each day. Led by t:slim Pump user and Beyond Type 1 Global Ambassador Council Member Sierra Sandison, Tandem pumpers are participating in full force!

We’re grateful that Beyond Type 1 gives our customers a platform to share their stories, including a Community Network where the collection of personal experiences, ideas, and resources—which are searchable by topic—is growing rapidly.

“I first heard about Beyond Type 1 only about a year ago and since then have been blown away by the community that Beyond Type 1 provides for people living with type 1 diabetes," said Kelsey Tullis, t:slim Pump user and Beyond Type 1 Global Ambassador Council Member. "Not only does Beyond Type 1 create a space for individuals of all ages and from all over the world to come together, it also brings together the diabetes community as a whole—organizations, camps, advocacy programs.”

We love seeing our customers giving back to this community!

“I have had type 1 diabetes for 11 years now and try to always find the bright side of things," says Hannah Lambert, Tandem Pump User and Beyond Type 1 Global Ambassador Council Member. "Some days it is hard to find a positive hidden underneath all the negative outcomes type 1 diabetes can have. Beyond Type 1 is here for anyone affected by type 1 diabetes and is determined to not let it take over our lives. It empowers me and others around the world.”
