Switching from DME to Pharmacy
The pharmacy channel remains unaffected by these supply constraints. We strongly encourage you to verify your pharmacy benefits, as this may ensure a more consistent, 90-day supply of your preferred infusion set.
How to move your prescriptions to the pharmacy channel
To move your prescriptions, please contact your healthcare provider and ask them to send a new prescription for your infusion sets directly to your preferred pharmacy. You can also contact your insurance provider to confirm which local or mail-order pharmacies are in-network for your plan.
- Inquire: Call our Supply Specialists at 877 801-6901 (Option 3) and let the representative know you would like to inquire about pharmacy benefits for your infusion sets and cartridges
- Verification: Our team will send a referral to Tandem Pump Rx to verify your coverage
- Confirmation: Eligibility is typically confirmed within 2-3 business days. A representative will reach out to you once this is complete
- Prescription: Once confirmed, contact your healthcare provider to request a new pharmacy prescription, which can be sent directly to Tandem Pump Rx
