Tandem Diabetes Care, Inc. (“Tandem”, “we,” “our,” or “us”) offers individuals who opt in to the Tandem Text Message Program (“Program”) the opportunity to receive recurring, autodialed SMS, MMS and/or RCS messages (“Texts”) that may include information about our products, order details, and other content sent by Tandem. By signing up to receive Texts, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and our privacy practices as described in our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
By enrolling to receive Texts, you certify that (1) you are the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which you reside; (2) you are the account holder of the mobile number you are enrolling (or you have the account holder's permission to enroll the number); and (3) you agree to the practices described in these Terms.
We do not charge you for Texts, however, message and data rates may apply. Depending on your text and data plan, you may be charged by your carrier to receive Texts. The number of Texts you receive may vary depending on your interactions with us.
Consent to receive Texts is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Auto dialer technology may be used to send the Texts to the mobile phone number you enroll. By signing up to receive Texts, you agree to receive Texts via auto dialer technology or other automated means.
To stop receiving Texts, simply respond by texting “STOP” to any Text(s) you have received. You can also text “HELP” for further information.
We do not guarantee availability or performance of text messaging services and are not responsible for delays related to the transmission of Texts or for undelivered Texts. Not all mobile devices or carriers may be supported by the Program.
As part of this Program, we may collect information about you such as your name, mobile number, and your opt-in consent data. We may disclose this information to our service providers that help us administer the Program in accordance with our Privacy Notice, but we do not provide text messaging opt-in data to third parties for those third parties’ own marketing purposes.
