We hope you'll join us for the 2017 Weekend for Women Conference, presented by DiabetesSisters. The goal of the event is to educate, inspire and transform women's views of diabetes so they can live full, happy lives with the disease. Since the first conference in May 2010, the event has become the premier forum for women with diabetes, providing peer support and education with topics including new technology, travel tips, pregnancy, exercise, and many, many more.
All women with diabetes (pre-diabetes, type 1, type 2, LADA, gestational) are invited to attend. DiabetesSisters' Weekend for Women Conference is the destination for the diabetes community's greatest voices, hearts and minds. Past speakers include many well-known advocates from the diabetes community and leading experts. One of this year's special guest-speakers, Kerri Sparling, will be talking about her life with type 1 diabetes and insulin pump therapy. Sparling sits on the board of directors of several diabetes patient advocacy groups and speaks globally about her life mantra, “Diabetes doesn't define me, but it helps explain me."
