A Supportive Environment to Help You Get Strong - Free to You

Apr 14, 2017

We understand that managing your diabetes and living a healthy lifestyle takes both physical and mental strength. That’s why we’re excited to share the Strong With Diabetes Challenge!

In this free 4-week challenge, Christel Oerum, a fitness professional living with diabetes, and a team of diabetes, health, and exercise experts will take you step-by-step through a program focused on finding balance as you strive for good health.

The free Strong With Diabetes Challenge starts on May 3rd and offers five things:

  1. Coached daily workout programs that you can do at home or at the gym
  2. Access to articles written by experts on diabetes topics
  3. Weekly meal plans
  4. An exclusive Facebook support group in which you can ask questions, share experiences, and connect with 3,000 other Challenge participants
  5. Other daily activities and product giveaways from Challenge sponsors

The Challenge is for people of all ages, fitness levels and types of diabetes.

“The important part is learning how your body and blood sugar react to exercise and learning the tools to exercise successfully,” says Christel.

In addition, during the Challenge in May, Tandem will host a Q&A session with a celebrity member of our Live Life in Full Color Speaker Series. Challenge participants will be invited to ask questions about insulin pump therapy and the Tandem pump features that can be put into practice during the Challenge.

May’s Challenge is your chance to ask questions, share your experiences, and get immediate feedback from your cohort with goals similar to yours!

“During our past Challenges, I’ve been amazed by the overwhelming support and camaraderie there is among people living with diabetes,” says Christel. “Seeing people reach out and support each other to the degree I see in our group is heartwarming and makes what I do all worth it.”
