User-inspired
design
Thank you. We appreciate the thoughtful reflections and
insightful suggestions that were shared with us during thousands of hours of
interviews, focus groups, and usability studies. It has directly influenced the design and
development of the t:slim Insulin Delivery System and customer research
continues to inspire us to be innovative.
We hear you
In 2007, we
started asking people “what do you want most in an insulin pump?” Almost
universally, we heard “pumps should be thinner”, “make a pump that’s more
stylish, yet discreet” and ““pumps should be easier to use”. Tandem’s R&D
team has focused on these needs and requests, and the t:slim Insulin Delivery
System—the first of its kind with a color touch screen—was born.
